Season 6 Teaser Trailer: [link]
SEASON 6 - MAJOR SPOILERS + Definitely Dead Spoilers
A new love interest that has been talked about is Ben (a highly charismatic faerie who takes a liking to Sookie (and vice-versa) and helps Sookie and Jason delve deeper into the mystery of their parents’ murders. He’s magnetic to women and men folk alike, all while using his Southern gentility to mask a dark, dark, dark side.) He will be played by Rob Kazinsky. He sounds a bit like a combo of Claude(from books) and John Quinn(were-tiger). In the recently released audition tapes, character Ben has apparently been in prison. He helps Sookie, and then he threatens her. They read each others minds (which is not featured in the tapes), but it sounds like Sookie is planning to visit her science teacher (?).
We last saw Debbie’s parents trying to find out where Debbie’s gone in season 5, so the probability of this also happening on the show is highly likely. Eric is the one who rescues them both in the book.
Judging from what happened at the end of season 5, that war will be humans against vampires. This is also reinforced by the fact that the new villain will be Creighton Burrell(Arliss Howard), the Governor of Louisiana. He has a major hate-on for fangers, owing to the fact that his wife ditched him with their daughter to be with one. His daughter’s name is Willa, 22,(Amelia Rose Blaire). While her position is against her fathers plans she is powerless to stop him from his. She has long clashed with her father over vampire rights. From audition tapes, there is a scene when Steve Newlin visit’s the governor to negotiate peace between vampires and humans. He’s violating vampire rights and Newlin wants an official apology. Now the way in which governor Burrell is doing that, is by torturing vampires in special prisons. This is supported by casting calls, calling for Louisiana Anti-Vampire Task Force, a beautiful Thai woman who is used to get vampires to participate in therapy named Somchai, LAVTF team commander, security chief, Finn who is a middle-aged prison psychiatrist.
Other info on the governor of Louisiana: a casting call for Connor Farley, about 45 and works for the Department of Wildlife, who is on his way to a meeting with the governor, he finds himself in a problematic situation. So this governor will be pretty evil. He will also have an evil advisor - Dr. Overlark,. He’s a ruthless 50-year-old. All of this stuff seems to be related to Eric’s storyline, judging from the paparazzi photos.
However we haven’t seen the last of the Vampire Authority, as there as a casting call for a male Authority guard, who sees something he can’t believe in the AHO Control Room. So if the Authority still exists, then the most likely vampire in charge will be Bill. He had some kind of major transformation into a deeper supernatural being. In the next season, it will be explored whether he lost his humanity entirely or will it just have to fight harder to come out. People can come back from anything, but it doesn't mean that it won't come at a huge cost. Evil Bill will be explored because it was time to make him really go dark and see what that does to everybody else. Certainly Bill not going to be the Bill we know and love. He’s going to have more bite. He is kind of dangerous now, even for an old, strong vampire like Eric. Jessica Clark, who plays Lilith will also come beck in season 6. The big war human-vampire will probably be between governor of Louisiana and AVL/The Authority/Bill.
From the same photos, seems to look like Jessica will be going to college, as there will be a Hido Takahashi, a 50-year-old university science professor who likes to talk about himself. Also casting calls were recruiting 17 year old, fun loving girls, with possible nudity required. It will be interesting to see how Jessica is coping with an evil maker and being dumped by Jason.
Jason, on the other hand will be caught up in a love triangle. There will be a new recurring vampire on True Blood named Wes! He was turned in the 1970s when he was in his mid 20's. He’s sexy, smart, compassionate, protective, and plays the guitar. He’s going to be involved in a love triangle with Jason and another vampire. Wes will be a strong recurring role in season 6 and a regular in season 7 with some rear nudity involved. Violet, who is a sexy and dangerous vampire could be the other side of that triangle. The unsuccessful auditions make it look like she is strongly attached to a human called Kevin, and that they are in governor’s prison. Yet she is also talking to Jason and how he is hers forever. Wes is in the governor’s prison as well, and he’s being tortured for not raping a vampire girl. He’s having a conversation with her, and she also mentions that they will be exposed to the sun soon. It will be interesting to see how Jason gets involved in all this.
Season 5 ended with Luna shifting live on TV. This will probably cause some kind of outing of shifters and weres, or at least start it. In the later books, shifters and weres do come out to the public. Someone who seems to take part in this is a human girl Nicole, a “do-gooder to the core. Nicole is naive, optimistic, and charming — but her idealism is “ultimately vaguely idiotic and dangerous.” Key member of a band of well-meaning liberal advocates. The gang models itself after the civil rights activist Freedom Riders of the 1960s, a group of progressive protesters who rode buses from state to state, challenging racial segregation and Jim Crow travel laws. The Freedom Riders were usually arrested, and fell victim to mob violence, Ku Klux Klan beatings, and cruel and unusual punishment in prison. Don’t expect a secret agenda from Nicole, “A true bleeding heart,” Nicole is “not at all concerned with money; she’s concerned with the common good and doing what’s right … Life hasn’t beaten her down yet.” If you’re still not getting a clear picture, the casting call suggests that she went to Bryn Mawr College and drives an old Saab. Jurnee Smollett will play her. This character will be trying to talk Sam into joining her cause, along with other shifters. Sam, in episode 1 of season 6, will be visited by two Caddo Parish sheriff deputies. They will probably be investigating the TV appearance thing, and/or even his visit to the Authority headquarters.
We will definitely see Warlow in season 6. There will also be some other characters maybe who we know and love who are pursuing a less than generous agenda. Rutger Hauer (Blade Runner) is joining the show as Macklyn Warlow/Niall. There will also be Warlow’s flashback, as Niall’s protective mother appears in 3500B.C., so he’s almost 6000 years old, there will be a young him as well. There are pictures of Warlow and Jason on the set, during the day. As we know from season 5, Warlow killed Sookie’s parents and has a contract which says that Sookie belongs to him. All the confusion on how he can be Niall as well, aside, the only way Sookie could come out of being sold to a vampire is probably by marrying another one. In All Together Dead, Sookie gets tricked by Eric into marrying him, this way he protected her from being used by Sophie-Anne and other vampire royalty. It is a strong possibility that this Warlow was introduced, so that this bit can happen.
More on Sookie: right now we don't know how Sookie feels about vampires. The fairy elder said, "There's a reason you give your heart out to every fangster you meet.". In season 6, we should find out the reason for it. Also a Beverly Hutt appeared in the casting calls. She’s a 50-year-old woman who was a friend of Sookie/Jason’s parents and answers their questions about them. Their meeting will call for a flashback, with a young Beverly Hutt (30 years old), 4 mischievous faery girls, one of whom is Jordan Monaghan, hospital nurse who is calming a patient, and 8 year old Sookie.
In the next season, even though it looks like Alcide and Sookie may have cooled things off, he‘s still interested in her. Robert Patrick has signed on a series regular on True Blood, playing Alcide’s father. Alcide will get a stronger plotline this season. It will be racier. He has taken over the wolf pack, so he’ll be trying to regulate it. A casting has also been announced for a werewolf hooker, who doesn’t like Alcide’s curiosity.
Tara and Pam are now Bon Temps hot new couple. Things are a little complex, so we continue with that in Pam’s relationships. Her relationship with Eric became strained during the season and they’re in a quite a jam. She has this new progeny, Tara and they’re both gay. No information on whether their fling will flourish into something more.
In other spoilers, there will be a Justin, who is surprised when his Marine Corps buddy Terry contacts him with a strange request. Terry has been seen filming in the Bellefleur house as well. Andy Bellefleur’s faery-babies are going to complicate things for him. They may go to live with the fairies where it's safer for them. And it’s a possibility they will grow much quicker than human babies. There will be a bunch of Occupy Wall-Street type people being cast. As well as a vampire prostitute who makes house calls. There might also be some cabin in the woods incident, as a few actor are required for that
